Let's Ride, because we can!

I hope you'll support me while I participate in my 3rd Young Survival Coalition's Tour de Pink Ride this October. This will offically be my 3rd year doing the ride, although last year, my friend and teammate Lisa Hemann and I rode the course on our own during Covid, so I think this is actually my 4th ride. As you know, supporting breast cancer issues is close to my heart, as I'm now a 6-year survivor and will continue doing these events for as long as it takes to put a stop to this horrible disease, help those affected and fund research to help prevent others from getting breast cancer.

This year I will be riding 62 miles in one day to help raise awareness and raise funds to fight breast cancer, especially in younger women. I was 44 when I was diagnosed, wtih no family history of breast cancer and while I feel extremely lucky to be here writing this, I also feel extremely mad for the pain and suffering my family and I went through during my diagnosis, surgeries, chemo, radiation, and adjuvant care. The constant worry about the cancer coming back is something I wish upon no one and I count everyday I'm still on this Earth as precious. I know we can all say that we know someone personally that has survived or succumbed to breast cancer and I hope you'll please make a donation of any level to support this worthy cause.

Thank you kindly,
Amy

There are more than 250,000 survivors who were diagnosed with breast cancer before age 40 living in the U.S. today. They are navigating an already permanently altered life after cancer now compounded by COVID-19.
I have made the exciting decision to participate in YSC Virtual Tour de Pink this year to raise funds to support them through the Young Survival Coalition (YSC).
I hope I can count on you to help me reach my fundraising goal. Any amount helps!
YSC is the largest nonprofit dedicated exclusively to young adults diagnosed with breast cancer age 40 and under and their co-survivor support networks. Through educational resources and programming, annual conferences, and local and online support networks, YSC ensures no young adult faces breast cancer alone. For more information, visit youngsurvival.org.
You can view YSC’s audited financials and annual reports online here: youngsurvival.org/who-we-are/financial-information
As I get moving for the survivors and thrivers, I plan to update this page frequently along with my social media accounts so that all of my supporters can see my progress towards my fundraising and personal fitness goals.
Thank you in advance for your support. I truly appreciate your generosity.
