At the end of 2018 my wife Emma was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer at the age of 29. At the time of her diagnosis the mountain we had to climb, especially at such a young age, seemed insurmountable. After a long and arduous treatment journey we are, thankfully, starting to feel like normal people again. However, we will always have a sense of understanding and familiarity towards those going through the hardships of this disease so young. For this reason, I have decided to squeeze into lycra like a sausage in small casing, develop some janky tan lines and take part in a 100 mile cycle across L.A. for an amazing non-profit organisation that is dedicated to supporting young people diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 40. I know things are tough at the moment but any donations, or simply a like, would mean the world to me.
