Rod Tarrago's Tour de Pink Ride
Greetings everyone
In 2013, my wife Sonja was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had no symptoms and was otherwise healthy. It changed all of our lives. It made us realize what’s important. She navigated months of of treatment, including mastectomy, reconstruction, and chemotherapy. Her body has recovered, but the emotional toll lingers.
This year, on the 7th anniversary, I will be joining her and our amazing friend Wendy in the YSC Tour de Pink. It’s a three-day, 200-mile bike ride for breast cancer, starting from Santa Barbara, California and traveling down the Pacific Coastline. My participation means that in addition to the physical work, I have pledged to raise at least $3000 that will go directly to Young Survival Coalition, an organization that supports education materials, mentor training, and travel to the YSC Summit. I am reaching out to you to support me in achieving this goal to honor other survivors.
Thank you for supporting this great and personal cause. Any amount helps.
