Eight years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 43. I felt far too young to have breast cancer, I didn't know anyone who had ever had it and I didn't think it was survivable. It was terrifying and I desperately wanted to meet other women like me. Then, I found the Young Survival Coalition through the Tour de Pink and my world
opened up when I was able to connect with other young survivors!

Now, this will be my sixth TDP, and I am forever grateful for the network of support and resources I have found through the YSC. No one gets through this alone and being able to find a kinship with others who are on the same journey is empowering. The sisterhood I have with other survivors provides a comfort I can't explain but it is vital for me.

I am so excited to see my YSC family this year and I am looking forward to connecting with other survivors like me. I am honored to ride in memory of Lisa Frank who was such an inspiration to us all. I ride for all my fellow breast cancer survivors and friends and for everyone we've lost.

Many of you have graciously supported me in the past, and I humbly ask you to ride with me again on this Tour de Pink. Your donation to the YSC will help so many women and I promise you, it will make a difference!

With love and gratitude,
Tracy

How will your donation help and what does YSC do?

There are more than 250,000 survivors who were diagnosed with breast cancer before age 40 living in the U.S. today. They are navigating an already permanently altered life after cancer now compounded by COVID-19.

YSC is the largest nonprofit dedicated exclusively to young adults diagnosed with breast cancer age 40 and under and their co-survivor support networks. Through educational resources and programming, annual conferences, and local and online support networks, YSC ensures no young adult faces breast cancer alone.
