October 27, 2017

Transportation

All riders are responsible for getting themselves and their bikes to the starting location.

Getting to the Start

Westlake Village, California can be reached by plane, train or automobile!

By Air

  • Santa Barbara (SBA): Cabs and shuttles are available from the airport (see recommendations from the airport). This airport is closest to the starting location and is about 40 miles away.
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): There is a daily Westlake RoadRunner shuttle to and from LAX (please contact RoadRunner directly to arrange). This airport is in the middle of the starting and finishing locations.

By Train

You can take Amtrak to the Moorpark (MPK) station. The Hyatt Regency Westlake is located about 12 miles south of the station.

By Car

You can drive to the Hyatt Regency Westlake and the hotel offers both complimentary and valet parking services. Complimentary parking spaces are located on both sides of the hotel property. There is additional parking located in the lot across the street from the main entrance of the hotel. Upon entering the front drive with your vehicle, there is a canopy with a 10-foot clearance. There is no underground or covered parking on property.

Getting from the Finish

Three-day riders who need a ride from the finish at Santa Monica, back to the Hyatt Regency Westlake in Westlake, California or to the Los Angeles International Airport must purchase a bus ticket online before September 25, 2017. Tickets will not be sold at Tour de Pink.

One-day riders will get a free bus ride (for you and your bikes) from the Ventura Beach Marriott back to The Fess Parker in Santa Barbara on Saturday. The departure time for the shuttle is dependent on all one-day riders completing the ride. This means the shuttle could leave as early as 4:00 PM or as late as 6:00 PM.

Please note:

  • Bus tickets are one-way only.
  • Bikes shipped through BikeFlights will be taken back from you at the finale celebration in Santa Monica by Newbury Park Bike Shop to be disassembled and returned.
  • Bikes will only be transported to the airport locations if they are packed in travel boxes/cases. Bikes being transported to airport locations are the responsibility of the participant to take apart and pack into the travel box/case.
  • Tickets must be purchased online by September 25, 2017.
